2018 Volkwagon Tourage To Come With A Night Vision System

The new Volkswagen Tourage is a car that is meant to blow everyone away. It is the most technologically advanced Volkswagen yet and one of the new futures coming with the car is the night vision system which has never been used on any Volkswagen before. An infrared camera that is integrated at the front of the vehicle picks up heat coming from a living organism at night.

It can detect animals or pedestrians more than 400 feet away and show them as a highlighted yellow object in the digital instrument panel. As the vehicle approaches, the driver gets a red warning light if the current speed is below 31 mph. But if the speed is above 31 mph, the normally yellow highlighted objects will turn red. The vehicle will also give out an audible warning to the driver and pre-set the brakes to provide the highest deceleration rate.

The Touareg is also fitted with new LED matrix headlights that can flashlight onto a person in a potential danger area when the vehicle is traveling at more than 37 mph. This function only works outside of urban areas where there is low light, and only a spotlight will flash at the person to avoid frightening them.

The new Tourage is expected to hit the market by the end of 2018 and is one of the highly anticipated cars of the year. it is then left to be seen how the sales will go when it’s released.
