Just after unveiling the bmw m5 a couple of months ago, the company has introduced a newer version of the already powerful sedan. The new bmw m5 competition has come with a bit more power.
When compared with the original m5, the m5 competition has a slightly electronically tweaked engine that gives it more power than the original m5 at 617 horsepower. The torque of both vehicles remain the same however.
The new m5 is also a bit lower than the original m5, which gives it more grip and agility on the race track.
The m5 competition is powered by a 4.4 litre biturbo V8 even that can hit 0 to 60mph in 3.1 seconds and 0 to 124mph in a staggering 10.8 seconds. This makes the sedan one of the faster in its class. The top speed is also awesome at 155mph.
This new version of m5 was meant to compete with the likes of Mercedes e63 s amg that beat the original m5 in a drag race last year.
The new m5 competition will be hitting the street around July and the price tag will somewhere above the $100,000 mark.
